Post-doctoral position in molecular imprinting of proteins
Workplace : Institut de Recherche en Cancérologie de Montpellier (IRCM)
Funding: Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR)
Keywords: Molecular interactions, kinetics, SPR, QCM, molecular recognition, biomimetic materials.
The project seeks to set-up a groundbreaking technology to prepare highly specific tridimensional and functionalized imprints of biomolecules (peptides, proteins) using template-assembly and inorganic polymerization of a variety of original hybrid building blocks mimicking natural amino acids.
We are looking for a creative and talented post-doc fellow to work on molecular recognition at the interface of chemistry and biophysical methods. The ideal candidate should have expertise in surface and polymer chemistry, experience in molecular interaction kinetic studies using QCM and SPR, and basic knowledge in microfluidic approaches.
This cooperative project is at the interface of biology, chemistry and physics, is developed by 4 teams in 3 labs in Montpellier, and will necessitate strong and regular interactions between 3 post-doc.
The candidate is expected to be highly motivated, independent and able to closely collaborate with chemists, physicians and biologists. He will have to write reports, journal articles and participate in meetings using English language.
The post-doc will start from October 2019, for a period of 18 months. A delay of 2-3 months can be negotiated.
The net salary will depend on candidate experience.
Applicants should submit by email a complete CV including academic results, motivation letter, contact information and 2 recommendation letters to
